Latin America remains the least mobilized region in terms of global mission sending, despite hosting a significant population of 95 million Evangelical Christians. Due to a lack of mobilization, the region suffers from limited mission-sending agencies and scant awareness of the unreached communities within and outside its borders. However, Latin America—and Mexico in particular—stands as one of the most promising regions of the world for missions-sending.
Mexico is home to one of the world's most rapidly growing evangelical communities, over 14 million now, and contains 26 unreached people groups. The potential for mission movements, driven by Latino believers, is extraordinarily high.
